LionShare’s collaboration tools are accessed through the Buddy List Screen. This is where users create or join existing Chat Groups, initiate one-to-one instant messaging and Group Chat sessions, find status on Buddies, and manage existing Buddies and Groups.

Group and Buddy Organizer – Provides status on Groups and Buddies.

Active Buddy – Represented by a full-color buddy icon
Inactive Buddy – Represented by a grayed-out buddy icon
Group name – Represented by Group icon and name of group
Away – Set an Away Message
IM – Used for person-to-person messaging
Chat – Used to join a Chat room for discussion
Accounts – Used to add and delete buddies, add groups and manage accounts
