Managing buddies is a simple process. First, the user creates a group, and then adds specific users to the group. Once a group is created, it becomes available from the Add Buddy dialog box. Simply supply the User ID and Alias for the new group member, select the group to add them to, select Add and the process is complete.

To add a Buddy:
1. Select on Accounts icon at the bottom right of the Buddies List window.
2. Select Add Buddy from the drop down.
3. A popped-up dialogue box will ask you to add Window Name (which is your LionShare email address), Window Alias, Group, and Account.
4. Click Add and your buddy will be included into the Buddy List.
To delete a Buddy:
1. Select the Buddy that you would like to delete.
2. Select the Accounts pull-down at the bottom of the list.
3. Select Delete Buddy.
Chatting with a Buddy:
1. Click on Chat.
2. Choose an individual’s name from your Buddy List.
3. Type in your message in the text box.
4. Click Send to send the message.
