Chapter 6: Collaborate Using LionShare >> Adding a Chat Group

Chat groups are used to multi-person messaging for small groups. Adding a chat group requires setting up a group name and adding members to the group. If a group is created but no users are added, the group will be deleted on the chat server.

To add a Chat Group:
1. Select the Accounts tab and the Add Group dialog will appear.
2. Select the account server to be used to host the Chat group.
3. Give a Group Name to the new group.
4. Select the Add tab to add the group.
5. The Chat group’s name will appear in Buddy List.
