Before LionShare can be used for sharing files securely, users must verify their identity with the institutional identity service.  When the LionShare application starts, the user will be asked for institutional identity through a Login Window, where the user is asked to provide User Name and Password. The following figure provides an informational overview of the components of the LionShare Login window.
