Chapter 2: Getting Started >> Packaged Installers

Package downloads and links to the appropriate runtime environments are available on the LionShare Web site. There are also three different installer packages available including: Windows 2000/XP, Mac OSX 10.4 (Tiger), and Linux/Unix. The LionShare Peer requires the Sun Java 1.5 runtime environment.


To download the Java WebStart version of LionShare:

  1. Open the Peer Java WebStart Download Page

To download LionShare packaged installers:

  1. Open the Peer Download Page.
  2. Download appropriate installer package for your operating system.
  3. Additionally, the user may need to download and install the Java runtime environment. A link is provided on the LionShare download page.
